The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a nice balcony with great views over the valley. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant used locally raised beef, which was really good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel had a lot of character and charm, with old-style furnishings and a beautiful library and game room. The breakfast was good with a lovely setting. I also enjoyed the large sparkling clean bathtub.

The room was not ideal as the eaves protruded into the room, making it difficult for taller people to use the toilet. The bed was not set up as a double bed with separate comforters and mattresses, which did not make for a comfortable romantic experience.
